The Baton Rouge Blues Festival is back for its 24th Annual Year celebration. Originating in 1981, the Baton Rouge Blues Festival is one of the oldest blues festivals in America. It recognizes and honors the legend of home-grown blues artists, including several new homes in Baton Rouge LA favorites.
Presented by Smoke-Free East Baton Rouge, the Baton Rouge Blues Festival will take place this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, April 14 – 15 from 12 noon to 10 p.m. in and around Repentance Park and Galvez Plaza. This event is family-friendly and free and open to the public. The lineup will feature internationally-recognized performers and local blues legends including Baton Rouge Music Studios, Bruce Lamb and Jo Monk, Chris Thomas, Flat Duo Jets, Erica Falls, Hezekiah & The Houserockers, The James Hunter Six, Jimmy “Duck” Holmes and the Dexateens, JST DAVID, Kenny Neal & The Neal Family Band, Mavis Staples, OMT, Oscar “Harpo” Davis, Sundanze Howie, Sweet Southern Heat, Terry “Harmonica” Bean, Troy Tuner, Tyree Neal, Water Seed, and much more!
All-Weekend Experience Pass tickets are available and on sale for $200 plus a $4.99 transaction fee until Saturday, April 14. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
